Naturally, so many brides were devastated by the pandemic. I had multiple couples who postponed, rescheduled, or split up their wedding celebrations. Kenzie + Ryan were one of those couples. These 2 were my first Spring wedding of 2020 so when we chatted prior to the wedding we had no idea what to expect. We entered into uncharted waters.. and Kenzie made the difficult decision to go ahead with their wedding date with only 20 of their closest family members and to postpone the BIG party for 2021.
If the pandemic taught us anything... let it be that sometimes the most amazing things can happen during such a dark time.
Although this wasn't in the original plans and I know both Kenzie + Ryan weren't happy to split up the party I realized after last year's wedding season that they actually were the lucky ones. They had the best of both worlds. A small private ceremony and celebration with those closest and then a big party in 2021. They truly were blessed with 2 amazing celebrations of their love.
